Twelfth week of summer- August 15-21

I don't have much to say for this week or pictures to share. The kids spent the week in Florida with my parents and had a blast! They went to the beach, the pool, fishing, crabbing and lots of field trips! If i get some pictures from my parents I will attach them to this post! Lucky Kids!

Eleventh week of summer- August 8th-August 14

This week was special for a couple of different reasons. One being my kids left to go spend a week with my parents in Florida while I went back to work. It was cheaper for me to send them down there then to put them in camp for a week and a half! The other reason is that I got to spend part of Monday with my great friend Christa! We have been friends since we were 3 years old!! I loved it because our kids got to meet and play too! We played inside some, had a picnic lunch, explored the creek and had a mini-photo session! Thank you to the Gregg family for letting us share part of your day together! Here are some pictures from that fun day!

Tenth week of summer- August 1st- August 7th

This week we went to see MawMaw in Newnan and some of the cousins. The kids had a great time playing and I enjoyed some time with just my grandmother and me! On Tuesday we went to see Monsters vs. Aliens at the free movies and then just played with the neighbors after mommy went to the gym. Wednesday we went to INK with one of my co-workers and her two boys. Thursday we went to my school to set up my classroom and ran errands. Friday we were just around the house.

Ninth week of summer- July 26th- July 31st

We stayed busy this week! Monday we went to the dentist- where both kids did great and teeth checked out just fine! Tuesday we met Ms. Erin and Carter at PLAY in Roswell. This is an indoor play place that has trampolines and pits full of foam pieces that you can jump in. Wednesday we went to the free movies and saw Hotel for Dogs. This was an experiment to see if Kennedy was ready to handle the noise and if jr could sit still. If we sit up in the back and over by the wall the sound isn't to loud. And if i take enough food he will sit still! Thursday we went downtown for the day. The kids played in the fountains at Centennial Park and then we went to the kids museum for the rest of the day. Friday we went to the pool for a few hours then stayed around the house. We also had tae kwon do, homework time and mommy working out at the gym all this week too! Here are a couple pictures of us downtown Thursday. Saturday we hung around the house and jr had a birthday party to go to. Sunday we ran errands and the kids played in the sprinkler.

Eight week of summer- July 18th - July 24th

You guessed it- more of nothing! Homework time, pool, gym, tae kwon do, and playing outside. The one special thing this week was the birth of my cousin's second son. Welcome to the world Shepherd Henry Scott!

Seventh week of summer- July 11th-July17th take two

After a few days in Ft. Myers we headed up to Orlando for Daddy's family reunion. We only stayed until Saturday. People were pretty much doing their own thing and Kendrick's mom and brother weren't able to make it this year. (We sure did miss them.) We haven't been to a reunion since we were married! Hopefully next year we can all make it and maybe even have a family vacation! We did take the kids to SeaWorld and they loved it! Here are a few shots from the hot day!

Seventh week of summer- July 11th-July 17th part one

This week was a little more exciting! We went on vacation. The first part of our vacation was in Ft.Myers, Florida. We went to the beach, lots of bike rides, the pool, fishing and played putt-putt. Thank you Grammie and Poppa for having us!

Putt-putt at Jungle gold in Ft. Myers. I played at this same place allllllll the time as a kid! We always went when people came to visit. Hasn't changed.

Sixth week of summer- July 5th-July 10th

This week wasn't too exciting. Same kind of stuff- gym, pool, program at the library, four year old check up for jr, and a trip to the Peachtree-Dekalb airport playground. The program at the library this time was a juggler that the kids really liked. The PDA playground is a great concept just really hot this time of year. There is a playground right near the runway at this single engine and corporate jet airport where the kids can play and watch the planes at the same time.
At juniors four year old check-up he was 40lbs (82%) and 43 inches tall (94%). He had gained 5 pounds and grew three inches.

Forth week of summer- June 21st-June 27th

The kids were in rock climbing camp at our gym this week and loved it! The day I took my camera the batteries were dead- of course- so I will take some pictures the next time we go climb. After camp I would work out then it was home time or TKD for Kennedy. Kendrick had two birthday parties this weekend for some friends from his old school. We played outside in the rain and after dinner one night tried to find the end of the rainbow!
