The Harlem Globetrotters

We took the kids to see the Harlem Globetrotters last weekend! We all loved it! I haven't seen the kids and daddy laugh so hard before! It was a great night and they can't wait to go again next year! Here are some pictures.

The other mascot was out during half-time and he was sooooooo funny!The kids got little basketballs for a souvenir and we waiting in line so Special K could autograph them.

First Spring Soccer Game

Kendrick Jr has been waiting for soccer to start since the last game of the fall season! Practice started the middle of February and due to the weather we just had our first game last weekend.
There are 4 kids still on the team from last season and then we have 4 new players. The kids did a great job together! We aren't really supposed to keep score - but we all do! The score was 8 to 3. Our team had 8 and of those 8 Kendrick scored 5 of them! He really hustled and did a great job! He is number 4 again this year. Here are some pictures.

Saturday Home Depot project

The first Saturday of each month Home Depot has a free project for the kids to do. We finally were able to make it this month! I forgot to take pictures until we were just about done. They made the Home Depot race car! We were all there but I only snapped a picture of jr and daddy.

Tae Kwon Do testing

That's right we had testing again! They changed it again so the adult testing and belt ceremony for Kennedy and Daddy was at different times. We didn't get pictures of daddy. =( Daddy is now a camo belt and Kennedy is green belt decided. Here are some pictures from her testing and belt ceremony.

Reflections Contest

The PTA has a reflections contest every year with different themes and the kids can do a story, picture, dance or song to go with the theme. There is a school competition and then they move on to state. Kennedy's teacher had them all enter. Kennedy did a picture and a story. She didn't win the school competition but she had fun and enjoyed reward night. Here are some pictures of her getting her certificates.
