Uncle Jerry and family come to visit

We had a great time this summer with Uncle Jerry and his family! We went to the aquarium, to the pool, Andretti's and just hung out at our house. We look forward to many more family get togethers. The kids had a great time and so did the adults!

Lots to see and do at the aquarium. We also saw the new dolphin show and it was great!

July 4th at the lake

We went to the lake July 3 and 4th with my dad's side of the family again this year. I am so happy we do this and everyone has such a great time! Here are some great pictures of all the fun!

We celebrated Jr's 5th birthday- again!

The Harlem Globetrotters

We took the kids to see the Harlem Globetrotters last weekend! We all loved it! I haven't seen the kids and daddy laugh so hard before! It was a great night and they can't wait to go again next year! Here are some pictures.

The other mascot was out during half-time and he was sooooooo funny!The kids got little basketballs for a souvenir and we waiting in line so Special K could autograph them.

Saturday Home Depot project

The first Saturday of each month Home Depot has a free project for the kids to do. We finally were able to make it this month! I forgot to take pictures until we were just about done. They made the Home Depot race car! We were all there but I only snapped a picture of jr and daddy.

Snowstorm 2011

So Sunday January 9th it started snowing and it snowed all night. When we woke up Monday there was about 5 inches of snow on the ground. Needless to say the kids were ready to go outside and play at 5:30 in the morning. We held them off until about 9:30. There is a great hill outside our house and by the time we got out there some neighbors were coming from down the street to sled. So sled we did! We played outside for awhile and then had some hot chocolate at our neighbors to defrost. Tuesday was much of the same except now there was a sheet of ice on everything! Wednesday we went for a walk. We were finally able to get out of the house Wednesday afternoon and took the kids to the gym so they could run around. Thursday was much of the same with ice and the gym. Friday things finally started to melt! Saturday was up to about 45 and things have melted nicely- our yard is still covered in snow. It all depends on what side of the street you live on! There was no school the entire week because nothing would melt!

Hunter's Christmas Tree Farm

This was our second year going to Hunter's Tree Farm to cut down our tree. We take pictures with Santa, pick our tree and make ornaments. The kids love it!

Thanksgiving 2010

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to go to Florida. We had a great time. We also told the kids Thanksgiving day that they are going to have a little brother or sister in June!
