July 4th at the lake

We went to the lake July 3 and 4th with my dad's side of the family again this year. I am so happy we do this and everyone has such a great time! Here are some great pictures of all the fun!

We celebrated Jr's 5th birthday- again!

Fourth of July!

Some of my dad's family headed up to the lake on the 4th - so we went with them! I spent a lot of time at this lake house when I was little and it has a lot of great memories for me. This is the first time my family has been up there all together - so I was super excited to go! We had a water balloon fight, played on the slip and slide, went on the wave runners, swam in the lake, went on a boat ride and tubed. Great, great day and I can't wait for a repeat! That night we just did some fire crackers in the drive way. We did learn that you can go up the hill from our house and see some though. We will do that next year- fireworks without the crowd and the noise!

The slip and slide was a hit! Jr loved it and I am going to have to buy one for the house now!

Once we got back inside I started getting the shower ready for the kids. I turned around and Kendrick was on the floor telling me he was "exhausted".

4th of July

We were still in Florida for the 4th so we celebrated by going to the parade on Sanibel that morning. That night we were on the causeway with a picnic and a party with my mom's neighborhood friends. Oh- the mosquitoes joined us too!
