Look and See

I just put four or five new blogs up for the month of December! We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year full of fun, health and Blessings!!!!

Christmas Day

We had a great day at our house! Santa out did himself this year! Plus all the gifts from mommy, daddy and all the other family members! We opened Santa gifts, ate breakfast and got dressed. Then my parents came over and we opened mommy and daddy presents, then all the other family presents. After play time, lunch and nap we went to my brothers and had Christmas with them!
Santa left his gifts in those neat Santa sacks!
Some of the action!

Christmas Eve

After the kids Church service on Christmas eve we had my cousins and aunt and uncle over for Chinese. My aunt and uncle had not seen our house yet!
My cousin Jane and I with our girl power rings!

Batman- Uncle Jeremy?

Bad mistake getting on the floor Uncle Jeremy!

So sweet!
Apples, cookies and milk for Santa and the reindeer.

Belt Testing

Kennedy tested for her brown belt this month! She is moving into the Tiny Tiger Black Belt Club in January.
High Block

Nice middle stanch!

Are we done yet?!
Recieving her new belt from Mr. Bell.

Build a Bear

This year for Christmas Kendrick and Kennedy made an animal at Build a Bear from Grandma Jo. Now when they need a Grandma Jo hug they can hug their animals! Kennedy made a dog and Kendrick made Frosty. Aunt Jane and Jasper met us their and gave Kendrick and Kennedy an outfit for their animals they just made for Christmas! We also took care of Jasper's present while we were there and got him Hal the Moose. Afterwards we went back to Jasper's house for pizza!
So fun! Thanks Grandma Jo and the three "J"s for the great gift!

Johns Creek Parade

Kennedy's Daisy Scout troop marched in the founder's day parade this year. It was cold this year and we were marching in to the wind!

Kendrick and Daddy were spectators. I think Kendrick's favorite part was the fire truck Santa is on at the end of the parade.

Hunter's Christmas Tree Farm

This year we decided to do something different besides get our tree from the Home Depot parking lot! We ended up going to Hunter's Family Christmas Tree Farm and loved it! The kids got there picture taken with Santa, (who was fabulous and loved the kids) took a hayride around the tree farm, went on pony rides, made a tree ring ornament, plus we picked and cut down our own tree! We love it and can't wait to decorate the house and tree tomorrow.

Off to find the perfect tree!

We found it!

The kids loved this tractor. There is a light up reindeer in front of it!

Making an ornament from a tree ring. Good times and great fragrance.

Kendrick on the pony ride!

Kendrick loved the tractor and Santa needed to catch up with Daddy!

Kennedy on the pony ride!

Can you say Christmas card is done! Love it!

The hay ride- always a hit!

Thank you Hunter Family Farm for a great day! See you next year!

Thanksgiving 2009

For Thanksgiving this year we did absolutely nothing! We stayed home and it was just the 4 of us! On Wednesday we went down to the Pink Pig and then had dinner with my parents before they left. Thursday we were just at the house. Daddy cooked and the kids played- not sure what I did! Friday we sat around the house in our pj's the entire day. The kids put clothes on around 4 to go outside and play for awhile! Saturday we went to the tree farm (that will be the next blog) and played outside. Sunday we will go to church, decorate our house and tree and get ready to go back to real life. I will blog our decorations tomorrow. Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving.

Making cinnamon ornaments to put in with pictures this year.

Daddy cooked this year and everything was delicious!

The Pink Pig

Ok- so we did it! We took the kids to the Pink Pig Wednesday. To be honest- we don't get it! I know people out there love it- my kids seemed to like it - but let's be real- they could make that ride a little more exciting! The tent is half empty for crying out loud! Sorry- I know there are some real lovers out there. Here are some pictures from our day- we did love being with our family and didn't let the kids know how we felt don't worry.

This is the old car that was part of the monorail way back when.

Daisy Scout outing

Autrey Mill Nature Center hosts a scouting day in November. Scouts can go and complete different stations to earn badges. So Kennedy's Daisy Scout troop went and the girls earned 3 different petals for their tunics.

Brownies

My mom and Bernie have been in town this past week and when they are here they come over just about every other night to eat with us and see the kids. One night while they were here they made brownies for desert.
