Daisy Scouts to the Fire Station

We had a great scout outing to the fire station today! The girls were well behaved and super cute! The firemen did such a good job with them. Thanks for a great day today!

YuYu's birthday

We have the sweetest neighbors and the kids love to play together. YuYu turned 5 the other day and the kids had a great time with face painting, freeze dance, yummy food and a pinata.

Cousin time!

We had family dinner at Aunt Jane, Uncle Jeremy and Jaspers house the other night. Aunt Natalie and Graham were there too! The kids had a great time playing while the grown ups chatted. Thanks for pizza - next time it is at our house!

Let the training begin!

Those of you that know my husband also know that football is a passion of his that is being passes on to our children. Daddy plays football on playstation alot and the kids always want to play too. Kendrick Jr took a swing at it the other night and daddy was so proud he took some video.

Let's try chopsticks

We had chinese for dinner the other night and daddy used chopsticks, so naturally the kids wanted to try. Here are pictures of their attempt! So cute!

Naples Zoo

The last day the kids and I where in Florida we headed over to the Naples Zoo. It was interesting and different from our zoo in Atlanta. We all had a great time!

Camel rides! How fun- thanks for the ride Joshua!

We took a boat ride around a lake that had 4 or 5 islands and on each island where different types of monkeys and orangutans. Fun!

The zoo also has black bears. This guy was fun to watch and was very playfull.

The zoo also had alligators. Here is feeding time at the zoo!

Jr writes his name!

Because Kennedy missed a couple of days of school I made sure to send some school work with her to have a homework time each day. Jr would also want to work on something while she was doing homework. His teacher has been working with them on writing letters and their names. Kendrick got really into it while we were in Florida and can now write his name. He does make a b instead of a d but when I tried to get him to make a d it was not pretty. Major tantrum- so we left it like it is and will tackle that issue later!
I am so proud of him! Not bad for a three year old!

Trip to Florida

We had a four day weekend in February so the kids headed down to Florida with Grammie on a Tuesday and I (mommy) followed on Thursday. Cousin Tucker from Colorado was there and they had a blast! The weather was cooler than usual but much warmer than it was in Georgia. The kids had a blast on the beach, playing with Tucker and a pirate cruise!
Limbo on the pirate cruise.Sweet picture of the cousins before Tucker headed back to Colorado.

The kids painted and glued shells on frames for their teachers and Tucker made one for his sister and mom.

Cold, windy day on the beach.
