Helping Haiti

My neighbor had barrels delivered to her house to fill for Haiti after the earthquake they suffered in January 2010. The soccer team her daughter plays on has a coach whose mother and son still live there. As you can see from the pictures below she had a room full of donations! So we sorted then filled 6 barrels of shoes, clothes, medical supplies, blankets, sheets and towels. The kids played in the other room until we had the barrels filled then they decorated them.

amazing all the stuff she has received

we are getting there

Pants on the Ground- jr style

We all have heard the song by now! Well here is Kendrick jr giving us his version as he takes his shower.

100 Day Project

The kindergarten students always do a project for the 100th day of school. Instead of just doing a poster with 100 things glued to it she decided she wanted to make a house "that is the shape of a cube".

Happy New Year!

Jane, Jeremy and Jasper came over for black eye peas on New Years Day. The kids played and ate while we watched football and chatted. Of course we also had a kid dance party during half time!
Check out these moves:

Playdate at the nail salon!

I took Kennedy and her friend Cynthia to the nail salon with me the other day for a winter break playdate! They have been friends since they were three and are so cute together. Next playdate we are just going to hang out at our house and play with some toys!
